Fitzrovia Journal Fitzrovia Journal was founded in January 2014 by writer/journalist Kirk Truman & a team of creatives ranging from design, to photography and illustration.

A group of friends, the journal sees the collaboration of various creative backgrounds coming together in one format. The journal is built on companionship. We keep it in the family and work by the motto ‘make it happen’. Born in The Midlands, Kirk was parented by a mother and father employed in hosiery manufacture through to mental health. His writing habit began in the form of a diary, thus lead

ing to non-fiction and fiction. To date he has written a number of unpublished novels approaching very different themes and narratives. His forth novel The Writer, The Villain & The Stone he hopes to succeed as his debut. From a young age he worked in mens fashion having moved in 2010 from a small Leicestershire village in the midlands to central London, Fitzrovia. The journal is a free quarterly publication available from a number of stockists in the West-End. The editorials focus in primarily on the Fitzrovia area of London’s west-end, though the journal does also cover the neighbouring areas Marylebone, Bloomsbury & Soho. Make it happen. Team FJ, 2014
