Penniless & Obscure Zine that celebrates life in the gutter. Edinburgh-based, artist-run. P&O aims to showcase and promote Scottish and international talent.

Penniless and Obscure grew out of a relatively spontaneous decision by three Edinburgh-based artist pals to create a zine which celebrates great folks who died - yeah, you guessed it - penniless and obscure. We have an open call policy and accept illustration, painting, photography, collage, and basically all things creative. We’re aiming to publish P&O on a quarterly basis, so send us your submis

sions along with your name, the name of your subject as well as a short blurb. The easiest way to submit is by emailing a 300dpi file to [email protected] or by mailing a hard copy. PM us for address details if this is your preferred option. If you’re Edinburgh-based and you don’t have access to a scanner, we can do the dirty work for you. Drop us an email and we can arrange pick-up. Issue 1 out in March 2016.
