The Milky Way Malt Shop literary magazine is a unique collaborative publication AKA zine. We accept all flavours of writing including fiction, poetry, essays, and personal narratives. Every written piece is given to an illustrator or photographer who is given full creative freedom in illustrating the story. We personally read and respond to every written submission and will try our best to find a

home for it in the Malt Shop, submissions of 3,000 words and under are ideal. Every copy of the Malt Shop is printed and hand-bound by Malt Shop staff using high-quality materials. The Malt Shop team consists of:
Emmaline Edie as Chicago editor and head designer
Sohail Fazluddin as Seattle editor and time traveller
Humbert Ferre as Miami editor and taste tester

Dale Zine has opened a new shop at 79 SE First St. in downtown Miami, just a block from the previous location.
