🚨✨ New episode ✨🚨 A few days into Trump’s presidency, there’s a lot of talk about the executive orders he signed on his first day. What do these mean for some African countries? Is it me or were most of the continent more muted this time round with their congratulatory messages, compared to 2016? Anyway, what are your thoughts on the withdrawal from the Paris agreement, World Health Org & more. Full episode available wherever you listen to your podcasts or via 🔌 in bio..
Do you think the coming Trump years will be good for the African continent?

🚨✨ New #ChatWithNat episode ✨🚨 Had a really great time speaking with @brian_lunga and getting his insight on a range of issues and topics including the 💎African Continent’s relative economic growth and opportunities (given the various issues happening in the global north),
🇿🇼 a certain country’s obsession with cars 😅,
💰 plus are we going to see the decline of capitalism by 2040?
And also a few laughs as well. We’d love to hear your thoughts too!

Rewinding to my #ChatWithNat with Nolizwe on building digital communities & creating opportunities for young #entrepreneurs in Africa and the African Leadership Academy.

Rewinding back to the episode with @nolizwem chatting about creating communities digitally and through her work. We discussed the inspiration behind co-creating @bhalawriters & @africanseoulmates plus creating opportunities for young #entrepreneurs in the African continent through prior work with the African Leadership Academy.✨
Such a rich, inspiring conversation. I particularly enjoyed getting a better picture of Nolizwe’s career trajectory and hope this inspires some of the younger people trying to figure out how to build socially impactful careers✨

🔴 The Assisted Dying Bill [ The Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill ] got majority votes at its second reading in Parliament this week. It will now be passed to a committee to scrutinise, to return for a third reading in 2025. If successful, this will apply in England and Wales.
🔴 There’s not been nearly enough public discourse around this. If you’re in England or Wales, do you know how your members of parliament voted?
🔴 I worry that it’s the introduction of a slippery slope & in years, decades to come - the application of this would have expanded in scope and worry about what this may mean for different migrant communities
🔴 Language barriers, accent barriers, deference to figures of authority, weak or no advocacy are just some of the issues. This is especially worrying as many of us start looking after ageing parents or family?
What are your thoughts on this? Do you support assisted dying being law?
⏯️✨ Rewind to a chat with @bongeziwemabandla talking about the making and inspiration behind the song Zange✨🚨
🚨✨ New episode 🚨✨ Had the pleasure of chatting it up with @_shaniakilah author of the critically acclaimed book For Such A Time As This! The book captures the lives of young Black Brits as they navigate the pandemic, love, the workplace, ageing grandparents & more. The themes from the book are very relatable. So whether you’ve read the book yet or not - you’ll find the conversation relatable!
