DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (MATERNITY COVER)
Plimsoll is looking for a Development Manager to oversee the workflow, administration and organisation of the Development team.
The role involves assisting the Head of Development and Creative Director in forward planning of the department. As well as supporting the Creative Executives with administrative support, diary management, scheduling, travel and logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Forward planning, workflow, administration and organisation of the department
Maintain and manage the diaries of Executives within the Development team
Organising meetings; preparing agendas, presentations, spreadsheets, documents and taking minutes when required
Organise travel arrangements in the UK and overseas, alongside complex international schedules
Keeping costs updated for budget forecasting and resource recharging for productions
Manage the upkeep of multiple development databases
Data generation for the COO & CFO to use in strategic company planning
Pre/post production on projects where the production team has finished, developing initial workspaces and following up with the channel on post delivery materials for press and award submission
Assisting the HOP team on Funded Development projects
Work with Productions to schedule Exec time & viewings
Liaise with the Operations Department to make sure that external clients and visitors are greeted professionally
Assist with the organisation of company events
Keep accurate records of the Executive’s expenses and credit card expenditure and Development spend
Compose correspondence, letters and emails as required
Cover for the Executive Assistants when they are on holiday or sick
Start date: End of January 2026
Contract length: Up to 1 year (Maternity cover)
Based: Bristol office
Basis: Full time
