Samford Crimson The official page of Samford University's student-run publication, the Samford Crimson.

The Samford Crimson is the student-run weekly newspaper of Samford University. It has a circulation of about 3,000 undergraduates, graduate students and faculty members. The paper began in 1915 as the Howard Crimson, and is now in its 101st year in print. Students are responsible for nearly every aspect of the paper’s production: reporting, photography, online content, layout and graphic design, s

ocial media, editing and managing advertisements. The Crimson is under the direction of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, but students from every major and experience level can participate on the staff.
