Kids Wish Network, Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation, Cancer Fund of America, Children’s Wish Foundation, Breast Cancer Relief Foundation….they all sound like worthwhile causes working hard to benefit victims of terrible diseases. But none of them are. In fact these 5 charities are amongst the top 10 worst charities in the United States. Each of these charities has raised tens of millions of dollars over the last decade while spending less than 3% on actual services to the people they claim to be helping (Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation spent 0.7% on actual direct aid and there are a number of charities out there that spent NOTHING).
