Taiga’s EP Multi-Dharma was produced and recorded mostly in a temple called 卓玛吾萨林. The EP is a mix of Dub, Psychedelic, Ambient and some breakbeats, based on which the chanting of scriptures is incorporated.
Multi-Dharma creates a mysterious and deep atmosphere. Taiga did not follow the same approach or the iconic elements they had used before such as the Khoomei and morin khuur. All the vocals in this EP were chanted by monks in the temple while some effects are used to change the vocals, using Taiga's understanding and practice to restore the feeling of the music itself.
Even if you don't understand the scriptures, you can still feel the energy and mood of this EP, and the special meanings of praying for blessings, exorcisms, removal of disasters, teaching people towards goodness, and removing barriers each track contained!
