Today’s world is full of technology. We look at screens a lot. We do not write in hand so much anymore. Handwriting seems less important. But is it?

Experts say that writing in hand is very important, especially for children. Handwriting helps the brain develop well. Neat handwriting can even help children get better grades in school. Writing helps children connect letters with sounds. It is different from typing on a computer.

Writing with a pencil and paper may be better for memory. It helps improve thinking. So, handwriting is still important for children to learn and practice.

Difficult words: develop (to grow or change), neat (clean or smooth), improve (to make something better).

Trong chúng ta có cả bùn lẫn sen; có cả ác quỷ lẫn thiên thần; đừng khước từ ác quỷ cũng đừng cự tuyệt thiên thần. Trong chúng ta có cả đen lẫn trắng, đừng khước từ đen để chạy theo trắng; bởi đen là sự tô điểm cho trắng, bởi bùn là dưỡng chất cho sen.
Nghĩa là bạn đừng khước từ những yếu kém hay lỗi lầm trong quá khứ bởi không có sự tiến bộ và hoàn thiện nào đến từ sự chốn chạy chối bỏ quá khứ. Mọi thứ đến với mỗi người đều có ý nghĩa riêng đều là món quà cho sự trưởng thành thế nên hãy đón nhận tất cả với lòng biết ơn và trân trọng. Và rồi hãy sử dụng sức mạnh chuyển hoá bản thân để nghiền nát toàn bộ rác rưởi trở thành dưỡng chất nuôi cây để cây ra hoa thơm trái ngọt. Sau đó bạn hãy tự mình nếm những vị ngọt của niềm hạnh phúc vui sướng rộn ràng trong lòng. Thế nhé!

Fewer babies are born in Japan every year. One company makes baby diapers. They stop. They start making diapers for older people. It is a better business.

The population in Japan is getting older. This is a big problem. More people die and fewer people are born. Experts say that in 45 years, there will be 30% fewer people. Japan is trying to solve this problem. Jennifer Robertson knows a lot about Japan. She talks about what the government is doing. They think about using robots. But it is not as easy as it seems. Robots in Japan mostly do simple tasks. They cannot replace people. People hope that new technology will change things in the future.

Difficult words: diaper (a thick soft cloth for babies who cannot use the toilet yet), task (work which you must do), replace (to put one thing or person in place of another).

Clothing companies make too many clothes. These clothes do not last very long. People throw them away after a few times. People do not think what happens to these clothes.

Millions of tons of clothes travel from North America, Europe, and Australia. They go to countries like Ghana or India.

In Ghana, workers sort and sell these clothes. The clothing amount is too much. 40% of these clothes become waste. They end up in rivers and the sea.

Workers in India make new materials from some of these clothes. Even these materials become waste one day.

Some companies want to change the situation. They make better quality clothes. They last longer. The problem is that most companies don’t want to change. They care only about profit.

Swisher has four children. She thinks that children should not have social media. If yes, their parents must agree. Social media is like ci******es. Once you have it, you cannot stop using it. It is not good for children. It has an impact on their mental health. Young girls have many problems with it.

The government must make rules about social media. Swisher also talks about TikTok. Some people want to stop it in the US. There must be strict rules about foreign companies in the US.

Hungary has the highest inflation in the EU. The inflation is 16.4%. It means that everything is very expensive. Young people have a budget for their weddings. But the money is not usually enough. They spend several times more money than they want. They often choose cheaper things than they want.

Later, wedding ring traditions go to Greece and Rome. In old Rome, a ring means that a woman belongs to a man. During World War II, men give women a ring before they go to war.

Since the 1950s, diamond rings are popular. A diamond company has a slogan. The slogan says that diamonds are forever. For many people, the diamond ring shows that their love is forever.
