Mind officially blown! Amazon did their delivery today! Now you have to remember where they come from is almost 2 hours away. On a day like today more like 3 and 1/2 / 4 hours.

My hat's off to those delivery drivers. This is not the sort of snow you fool about driving in, especially if you're from the city.

This is called the Paisley snowwall.

This is near where I go camping. About 60km away from my friend's campground that I go to. whom by the way is accepting reservations now for the summer camping season. Best get on it folks. I think it's going to be a busy season there this year.

I'm booked there the majority of August into the closing labor Day. And for the first time since Norm passed away I'm going up for a week during Canada Day week! Quite the doings going on at the campground and Sauble Beach that week.

They're expecting another two to three feet there in the next couple of days.

Paisley is a small small town in that area near Lake Huron. some of my family farmed there about 200 years ago somewheres about.

Finally some semblance of a real winter. Eventually when I sell here I'm headed due north where the snow still is deep. The ice on the lakes is thick and the temperatures can still get down to -40c. Then I am a happy camper.

The true north reminds us she's still here and kicking lol. 40 cm here lol It's going to end up being more than 60. And then blowing snow. Lanark Highlands is on a plateau so it's always worse. Either we get nothing or it's worse lol

Started making my snow storm preparations. You can see that video over on my YouTub tomorrow morning, February 12th

Will be filming and taking stills of the storm and having updates through the evening and the next day on YouTube shorts.

Nice sunny day here at camp. The lull before the storm lol I'm thinking close to 2 ft here then they're saying blowing snow and stuff. This is definitely classic Canadian winter finally. We've had the cold just not as much snow as we should be.

But that's all about the change. And then supposedly more on the weekend. Of course this all starts when I'm just about ready to go ice fishing finally lol. Running a little late this year.

Biggest snowstorm of the year so far, on the way. Got lots of firewood, buying supplies tomorrow before the storm arrives. Gas up the truck and go pickup up my wood splitter as well. The new motor arrived earlier by courier.

Still can't get over that you can have things like this delivered to your house now. Pictures and video coming later.

I'm still freaking out about having parts delivered to the campground last August from Amazon..

Highly impactful winter storm possible Wednesday evening into Thursday.

What:
Total snowfall amounts of 20 to 40 cm.
Poor visibility in heavy snow and local blowing snow.

When:
Beginning Wednesday evening and ending Thursday.

Additional information:
Significant amounts of snow are possible late Wednesday into Thursday across a large portion of southern Ontario due a strong low pressure system. At this point, the path of the low pressure system is still uncertain which will affect exact snowfall amounts.

Hazardous travel conditions are likely. Motorists are urged to consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.

Because I live on the Lanark Highlands plateau more likely to get 40 to 60cm!

This might be the first big one this year. I mean really big one.
