The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra has jumped headfirst into film score concerts, in which it screens a popular movie above the stage while performing the music synchronized to the action.
It has proven to be wildly popular. The YSO will do it again this weekend, with the iconic 1985 film “Back to the Future.” Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Powers Auditorium.

Boardman High School presents a new haunted attraction called Haunted BPAC, a fundraiser benefiting the school's stage crew club and drama guild.

It will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, and Thursday, Oct. 31, inside the Boardman Performing Arts Center, 7777 Glenwood Ave. Admission is $5 ($3 for students).
