This is pathetic and cruel! Children need to sing in our schools. To outlaw singing, and woodwind instruments is just wrong. When will our collective minds open up and realize this has everything to do with power, control, fear and not health. The ones suffering the most are our children!!😕

Schools are making adjustments for music class and that means some instruments have been shelved and no more singing. Kendra Slugoski has more.

? The upright bass is the largest and lowest-pitched bowed string instrument in an orchestra? You may also hear the bass referred to as the contrabass, string bass, bass fiddle, or bull fiddle. The double bass can be played using two different types of bows: the French bow or the German bow. Finally, you can hear the bass throughout all genres of music including jazz, dance, pop, and folk music!

Active Music will be having fun with scarf dancing this month💕 !

As a child swooshes and moves her scarf from left to right and alternates between her right and left hands, she learns how to cross the midline of her body, which is a seminal pre-reading and pre-writing skill. Ability to cross the body’s midline is also critical for success in learning a musical instrument later on.
