Oh my goodness that was terrifying, but Jack from the newsbeat team was so lovely and it was great to be doing the interview with Pratiksha who was coming down the line from India and Danielle in Italy talking about extreme weather as a result of climate change. It was a bit of a shock to get the message and with very little time to prepare i am not sure i got across everything i wanted to, but i enjoyed it none the less and its all a learning curve. Last week i met Harriet, and fell totally in love with her open warmth and kindness. She instantly felt like a big sister, and after our interview and chat about my research about the horticulture industry, i left with a promise to meet at 8am the next morning for coffee and to just chat more.
