UPDATE: We are seeking information about a road rage and shooting that occurred just after 2:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 15, 2023, on the I-4 westbound off-ramp to US Hwy 27 in Davenport.

Attention social media sleuths - we need your help in a shooting and attempted murder investigation! Please share:
At 2:15 this morning (Sunday, October 15, 2023) we responded to the area seen on this map, which is the offramp to US Hwy 27 from I-4 in Davenport and located an adult male victim who had been shot while exiting the Interstate. The victim was found near his white Dodge truck - he appeared to have been traveling westbound on I-4 and just exited to go onto Hwy 27. He was taken to a local hospital. We believe he was shot by someone in another vehicle who then fled the scene.
