My fellow Americans, what ever it is that we are passionate about, from global warming to healthcare to fuel prices or living expenses. Curing cancer or any other disease. And everything in between.
The only way any of these things get cured is by having the wealth to fund them, all our passions and things that are important to us as one nation.
The wealth of our nation as a whole is what funds all the things we desire within our communities. My mother was born in 1932 her father was born in 1900. My family lived through a century of things like the Great Depression, 2 world wars, 911, AIDS, Polio, Covid, influenza…. You get it.
Yet most of my mothers life she didn’t need to work and dads salary of $16,000 per year was enough to live a strong middle class life with a house we lived in and a lake house with 2 boats that needed constant gasoline and maintenance. we all enjoyed this stuff so much. All because the country was wealthy and everything was more affordable to its citizens.
So if we want to get back to living easier we are gonna need more wealth so that “We the people” can afford to fund our biggest passions. So since the only way we acquire wealth is through global trade and natural resources,
I mean, we do only have one planet.
Let’s start with trade, what are things worth? How bad do you need it? Supply and demand. It’s very simple. We as a country are the most insatiable about spending. But we buy from other countries because we pay less. If we make it so other countries can’t get their product to us cheaper than we can make it ourselves, then, it’s a win for us and we improve our National wealth so these items become more affordable. And other countries, especially enemies, can no longer afford to fund things that can hurt us or our allies.
No matter what you want to achieve globally, the more wealth behind it the easier it is to accomplish.
China has been buying infrastructure for years of other countries for building, roads, bridges, buildings etc etc. they have gained enough wealth over the years to make Hong Kong one of the most modern cities in the world. They as a country are a little more corrupt with their wealth than hopefully we would be but never the less it comes down to having the wealth. Let’s not lose sight of this.
Whoever we elect as a leader we want it to be someone who understands how to build wealth and protect it to build more.
Trade and self sustaining with our own natural resources is what keeps us living our dreams as Americans. This will be going on long after this election and long after us. The government that simply taxes its own citizens to gain the wealth isn’t sustainable. It’s much easier on the stress of our citizens if we gain it from outside trade. And they will have to play by our rules since we are the ones spending the money they rely on.
Work smarter not harder.
