Trimming the wick allows the flame to have a cleaner burn . Some candles will create a black soot residue while burning , which could lead to marks on ceilings or other nearby surfaces.
TRIM YOUR WICKS !!

Also, let your candle form a full melt pool. It’s important to make sure your candle burn edge to edge during its first burn to ensure your candle won’t begin to tunnel , or burn down without melting the sides . ( Burn at least 2-4 hours )
