Diné Like Post Thinking Buu Will Go on Administrative Leave

In a social media post, Buu Nygren claimed he would let Navajo Nation employees go on administrative leave if the post gets 5,000 likes or hearts.

This confused many critics of Buu who read it as a social media stunt in which the Diné president would put himself on administrative leave for allegations about misused funds

“I thought democracy manifested on social media”, said a Diné follower. “I thought this was how the 5 feet president would be held accountable for his actions”.

“Initially I was impressed by his social stature”.

Nygren’s supporters thought it was a bad move knowing that more than 5,000 Diné signed petitioned to remove him from office.

“I was worried for the AU generated image of Buu”. “I knew his intern used a gallon of water to make that image and it would lead our glorious leader to a short run”.

At a quick Presidents’ Day Photo Op, Diné voters noted that the young President looked a little more giddy than usual.

Sandra Begay said, “he usually looks a little sad with his big hat but today seemed a little different”. “I figured it was due to all his traveling that he was tired”.

“Maybe it’s because today is the day we remember and honor our Presidents, past and present”.

Others resonated with the Begay’s sentiment.

“I don’t think he’s had an easy term with all the grilling and AI videos of him” said another.

“I wouldn’t want people yelling at me about funds and AI videos of my VP beating me up”.

Diné Christians Offers Advice for Tuesday's Rapture-Livestock Care, Homesite lease, and Truck Payments.

Social Media is Ablaze with speculations that the Christian Rapture will occur this week on Tuesday. Many influencers claim to have figured out the day of Jesus' second coming. According to Christian Theology, followers of Jesus will be seized and taken to Heaven while the non-believers hang out on earth.

This trend, sparked by a South African pastor, spread to Diné Bikeyah. Many Diné followers of Christ have reached out to their leaders for advice specific to the Navajo Nation.

The flood of questions inspired a meeting in Gallup. At this meeting, Diné Christian leaders offered advice to listeners.

Myron Lizer, Christian business leader, was in attendance. He reminded listeners that no one can know the date of Judgement Day but offered them Rapture Day Sales at his Ace locations.

Other leaders offer pragmatic advice. Pastor Ernie Bistuie offered his flock of followers advice.

"Have your non-believer relatives take care of your livestock" he said. "Your sheep aren't going to heaven with you" he said firmly. "Just because they aren't going doesn't mean they shouldn't be cared for".

"Do you think you need a homesite lease in heaven"? "No", he answered himself. "With God, you have a permanent heaven-site lease for eternity" he said lifting his glasses.

"Why pay your truck bill when you will be in heaven"? he asked the crowd. "You get wings in heaven".

Others were skeptical but they came for the delicious coffee and cookies.

Nygren Claims Tornado Is A Sign to Slash Budget to Restore Balance

In a brief hallway meeting with Tlochiin reporters, President Buu Nygren commented on his line-item vetoes. Nygren stated his decision was informed by the rare Tornados in Southeastern Utah;

"Tornados are a sign of imbalance in the Universe, and our Tribal budget" he said. "The Holy Ones sent it as a message to us in Window Rock to be fiscally responsible". "I agree with the Diné Hataali Association Inc. about the symbolism behind it".

"The legislative branch has too much monies and its unbalanced the government in Window Rock". "Diné philosophy teaches us to be vigilant of the signs".

The tornado touched down last Saturday causing damage to homes, livestock, and the surrounding area.

Tlochiin spoke to Diné Phd Candidate Lance Yellowhair about Nygren's comment. Yellowhair studies Diné political history, Diné philosophy, and Churro sheep.

"I think Nygren's incorporation of Diné teachings points to the convergence of Diné metaphysics and governance; the meeting point being Diné meta-fiscal budget". "This type of fiscal budgeting is not common but could shift funds to necessary programs".

Others saw the slashing of Legislative branch budget as an attempt to consolidate funds, resources, and personnel for the Executive branch. The Executive branch has been a revolving door for workers.

"I think Buu Nygren is trying to secure more funding to hire construction workers to build the rest of the zenni-homes". "It might explain why people leave his administration, they aren't qualified to build homes, something he really needs"

Tlochiin reached to Diné Hataali Association Inc. but none of the members answered their phone.

WINDOW ROCK- After Receiving Council Scrutiny, Buu Takes Ball and Goes Home.

During Summer Session, Council delegates questioned the current president about his involvement in the zenniehomes issue.

After the questioning, Buu’s frustration was expressed in his actions. He took his basketball and left council abruptly.

Some delegates felt it was immature of the president.

Many Diné citizens were in an uproar on social media after singer Russ dismissed Native beadwork from a Native fan.

In the uproar, some Diné citizens thought former President Russell Begaye was the center of the scandal. They unfriended and unfollowed the former politician due to their confusion.
