"I am a hard man with hard policies. Biden was a soft president and I am mad that my budget freeze has been rescinded. I am no coward".

Window Rock, Navajo Nation- Buu Nygren's Hat Gets Bigger as He Faces More Scrutiny

Navajo Nation members have noticed something whimsically bizarre with President Buu Nygren. The president has branded his administration and governance with an aesthetic described as traditionally bland. Last year Buu and administration have received considerable amounts of criticism.

While his fashion choice has stayed the same, people have noticed that his classic black hat has gotten bigger each month since more and more people have expressed disapproval with his administration.

His had has grown three times since he was sworn. The growth was not noticeable until recently when Nygren's hat was credited for ruining public relation photos ops.

While it is unconfirmed what the hat is growing, many speculate that it is due to the criticism levied at Nygren and his administration. As a result, Nygren's stress levels have increased.

Others speculate that the hat's growth is a defense mechanism for the elected official.

"The hat shields Nygren from criticism and lowers the cortisol in Nygren's brain" said Biologist Nathan Begay. "It can be a protective action of Nygren so he can still govern in a stable system".

Others think its a public relation stunt to buy more hats. Buu Nygren hinted at boosting the Navajo economy with housing production but some think the presidennt is beholden to Big Hat special interests.

Washington, DC - Snake-Like Trumps Hisses at Native Reporter Asking About Native American Citizenship

While signing new Executive Orders signaling the political agenda of his administration, the 47th president Donald Trump taunted a Native reporter asking about Native American citizenship.

The newly elected president did not hide his derision for the journalism and Native American presence. Cherry Yazzie, a Diné reporter for Navajo Daily, was shocked at the president's rude and sacrilegious taunt.

Afterwards, the Navajo reporter spoke to Tlochiin News about their experience.

"I did not expect the president to act as he did", the seasoned reporter said. "How did he know that Navajos do not take snake-like behavior lightly "? "I came to inquire about the direction of his administration so I didn't expect to be insulted in front of my respected colleagues".

Native reporters and members reacted to the blatant disrespect on social media.

"Wow, our 47th president is acting like the 666th president", one person posted on social media known as X.

"That's my president, Washington is full of snakes so you have to act like a snake to clean the swamp" said a Native Trump supporter".

"Joe Biden would never do this. He might ramble a little bit but he would never disrespect Native communities like this".

Cherry Yazzie said the act would not deter her from doing her job and speaking truth to power with Native journalism. Yazzie said that she covered Biden's administration for four years and never felt uncomfortable.

"I questioned Biden on his stance on Palestine and he changed the subject quickly but he never hissed at me" she said over the phone with Tlochiinn. "I was denied a press pass for a couple weeks but I was allowed to cover his apology to Natives".

Window Rock - Navajos for Trump say racial profiling ‘honoring’ Native Americas

Thomas Benally, a Trump supporter and member of Navajo Nation is ‘honored’ to be racially profiled.

“Usually we only get tomahawk chops are stereotypical sports mascots, to be considered an ‘illegal’ is a real honor, it spotlights Native issues.”

Benally doesn’t see any problem with Trump questioning Native American citizenship.

“Are we really citizens, this country is built for white people. Who are we to get in the way of their prosperity and happiness?”

Others are not so convinced.

Charles Yazzie, Navajo, spent a year in Iraq and feels that should demonstrate citizenship.

“Maybe if I had bone spurs like Trump I could be a real American” he said.

Breaking - Trump outlaws flax

Washington, D.C. - In one of President Trump’s first actions during his second term, the White House issued an executive order outlawing flax in all foods advertised for breakfast consumption.

“Flax is a liberal conspiracy to force Americans into taking too many bowel movements and falling behind China. We need to make our bowel movements great again,” said Robert Kennedy Jr., Trump’s nominee for the Department Health and Human Services.

Window Rock, Navajo Nation
August 15th 2023

Tlo’chi’iin reporters reached out to former Vice-President Myron Lizer about the Georgia indictment of former U.S. president, Donaled Trump. The former political elite responded that he was surprised by the fourth indictment since he was expecting one or two but not a “sacred amount of legal troubles”.

“I was sneezing a lot this morning so someone must have been talking about me”.

Former aides to former Vice-President Myron Lizer commented that they were surprised considering how much Lizer would talk about Trump’s triumphs and plan for Indian Country.

“He [Lizer] was happy to see Trump put a task force together for MMIW”, said one aide. “I know there was was a handful of valid criticism of Trump but that did not stop him from supporting”.

The indictment involved RICO charges and charges included indictments of 18 others. Tlo’chi’iin will follow the trail.
