Also addressing the gathering are the Republican candidates running for the office of Franklin County Property Assessor, including Kelly Brown Hall, County Commissioner Monica Baxter Jeffers, and County Commissioner and Franklin County Solid Waste Director Bill Anderson.

WCDT News is here live at LuLu’s Cafe in Estill Springs, where deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are joined by numerous county law enforcement officers and Troopers with the Tennessee Highway Patrol for today’s Tip a Cop event benefiting Special Olympics Tennessee.
There is still time to enjoy a great lunch and help these deputies, officers, and troopers raise money for a great cause.
Sgt. Sam Davidson, who is the Public Information Officer for the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, was happy to take a quick break from waiting tables to give you the details.
