November. I got some backlash when I said I thought it would be feasible to not have a schedule for the professional series up until the end of October. Not ideal, but feasible. It’s been a month and a half since the 2024 season finale in Missouri. Surely, I’m not irrational for thinking it’s a swing a miss for not having a schedule within that time frame. It’s almost impossible for riders and teams to obtain partners without having a schedule for budgeting. Not to mention it’s a very trying and unknown time from an economy standpoint.

Rulebook, eh. That could be even more important. With an entirely new landscape in the twins class (Honestly it’s monumental), I think having a rulebook so teams can start building bikes is even more crucial at this point.

Anyway here is the new Jared Mees Racing podcast while you wait:

American Flat Track obviously isn’t happy Tank Slappin' Podcast exists. Are we critical? Yes. But we’re fair. We hold them accountable. We always try to keep it professional.

This sport is sinking bad. If we don’t figure something out RIGHT NOW, it won’t exist in another five years.

You can complain about it online, or you can be proactive and do something to help it. Walk the walk.

Sadly, as I’ve said multiple times recently..

You can’t save the sport if it doesn’t want to be saved.
