Elsa M. Núñez, the sixth president of Eastern Connecticut State University, announced her retirement today. Núñez began her presidency in 2006 and will support the University as it transitions to a new president.

Our iconic Foster Clock Tower is a symbol to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends as the strength of our community. Last night, and in the weeks ahead, the clock tower is illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag as a message of solidarity in support to Ukraine and its people.

The Eastern Connecticut State University Art Gallery is kicking off the spring 2022 semester with a new exhibition, “Capturing the Ephemeral: Celebrating Theatre & Performance Media at Eastern,” running until Feb. 18. The exhibition will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 27, with an opening reception at 4 p.m. Admission to the gallery is free and open to the public.
