We did it again! Today we delivered the prizes to the winners of our second bilingual writing contest to NHS students.
The contest was originally designed to have three winners. The essays were so good that decided to award five winners instead. 💭 What surprised you about the process?
I was surprised about the communication ahead of time. One Small Step and its facilitators really pay attention to detail and are invested the conversation.

💭 Why should someone give OSS a try?
I feel like everyone should stretch their comfort zones by having these conversations with people with different opinions from yours. We all have people in our own families with different opinions, backgrounds and experiences. It truly enriches perspectives.

💭 Why do you think these conversations are important?
We need to re-learn to live together, to collaborate, to love each other despite differences, we need to find that common ground to co-exist. In the end, we all want the common good. Plus, it makes me happy to see others being happy.
