Our kids are four and two-years-old. They have a Hatch (essentially a night light and noise maker-LOVE IT) in their bedroom. It’s light is blue when it is time for bed. ⭐️We tell them that when the light turns green (we have set the time for this to happen), it’s time to eat breakfast and get ready for the day. ⭐️Instead of punishing them for leaving the bedroom when the light hasn’t turned green, we give them access to toys and books to pass the time. ⭐️The other morning, I caught them reading books together for ten to fifteen minutes. They got along, they shared and they even listened to each other. Give it a try!
