#EKT40 has been on the rise tough over the last year, headline after headline. The "Yeahhh" rapper recently performed at the Lil Durk show here in Columbus before receiving a shout out from Meek himself, that led to speculation that he had been signed to "Dreamchasers," before being confirmed yesterday afternoon. With this, EKT 40 officially becomes to Columbus, what Chief Keef is to Chicago. While Shad "Bow Wow" Moss is a legend in the industry, it's 40 that really put the city on the map. With guys like Shootemup, Fle###God, Y-KAY, KvngShad, Sir D Da Realist, Dom2Timez, and Pimpin Pat; as well as girls like Bang3, dope$t Mermaid, and KDFINNESSIN all looking promising, you'd have to think that Columbus is bound to become the fifth biggest Hip Hop city behind Atlanta, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Don't be surprised to see Columbus surpass New Orleans, Philly, Detroit, and Dallas before the end of the decade. This is just the start. Congratulations @ekt_40 !
