Here is the latest radar image. A couple of heavier snow bands were moving across the area (circled across Ohio and PA.) The snow and heavier snow showers will continue to affect the region tonight. Roads could also freeze as temperatures fall. Use caution if traveling.

The next disturbance will impact the region late tonight through Friday morning. The very cold temperatures expected and the high snow ratios will likely bring some near warning criteria snowfall to the area in the PA and WV ridges. Thus, a Winter Storm Watch has been issued for Preston and Tucker counties, and the ridges of Westmoreland and Fayette. It is likely that a Winter Weather Advisory will be needed for some of the lower elevation counties.
