The Oregon Dungeness crab fishery is just hours away from the "first pull". Boats & crew head back to port after setting their gear to "soak" prior to being able to begin the harvest of fresh crab. Happy new year everyone!

2023 Is the start of a new chapter for Gina and I. As some of you already know, we have decided to sell the Pacific Dawn! While bittersweet, it is the right move for us. I will be running our Commercial albacore and dugeness crab boat, Erin Nicole, based out of Newport Oregon.
The Pacific Dawn has been part of our lives for 33 years; this year is 20 years of ownership! So it is hard to see her go. I would like to thank all of you for your decades of support and friendship!
The new owner, Mike Loust, will continue a similar schedule that we have always done; running out of Ventura in the spring and San Diego in the summer. I am confident that with Mikes passion for fishing and customer service, he will continue to offer an outstanding experience.
