At its 15th Anniversary Launch, Xiaomi revealed its first self-developed flagship processor, the XRING 01 a big step into the high-performance SoC market. Built using TSMC's advanced 3nm process, the chip packs 19 billion transistors and a 10-core quad-cluster design, delivering benchmark results that beat Apple's A18 Pro.

Xiaomi says the XRING 01 offers strong GPU performance and better energy efficiency, thanks to the 16-core Immortalis-G925 GPU. It scored over 3,000 in single-core tests and more than 3 million on AnTuTu. This chip isn't just for smartphones - it's also made for AR, VR, and wearable devices.

This launch reflects a growing trend of tech companies creating their own chips. By doing this, Xiaomi reduces its dependence on outside suppliers and gains more control over how its devices are built and perform.
