Each company has extensive experience in video and audio production. In the past decade they've produced a nationally distributed documentary, a feature film, a television pilot, television commercials, music videos, multiple award winning scripts and radio commercials, an award winning short film and a slew of other short films. Having a passion for movies, the merger began as a screenplay writin
g group. For several years they met weekly, collaborating on short skits and on a script for a feature length film. When the skits took a backseat to the feature film screenplay, several members decided to leave the group. The remaining members of the group, Dean Q. Mitchell and Michael Burns, had no desire to write anything but this script. They threw bits of their lives into it until it became their story. They entitled it 'Proper Binge' and made it their mission to see this screenplay come to life. 1964 Motion Pictures was born on that day. Today, fund-raising efforts are in place to get their films off the ground. Chery Manning, executive producer and film enthusiast, has joined the team to help pull the funds together. In the meantime, they have been developing short films and music videos continuing to hone the craft they've dedicated themselves to. All those years of scriptwriting have proven to be extremely relevant. The many stories taking space on their hard drives may have a chance to come alive as these guys continue to make films.
