Hi friends! Have you ever wanted your favorite Olympic gymnasts to star in movies? Well, everyone did in the 80s. Check out Gymkata, starring Olympic medalist Kurt Thomas, and Rad, featuring Olympic champ Bart Conner. Both movies are in GOF issue 2.

In issue #13, I wrote about the movie Heathers. My favorite bit of info I learned about the movie is that Shannen Doherty didn’t realize they were making a comedy, and she cried at the premiere when she realized it wasn’t a serious drama. To her credit, Doherty later admitted that Heathers was probably a bit over her head. RIP to one of the great Heathers (the third picture is from Girls Just Want to Have Fun, which is a very different movie but another good one for Doherty).
