Moonlit Wings Productions creates colorful content for the stage and screen as well as educational programs that champion multicultural, gender-diverse and musical stories. Our services are led by award-winning creatives working in the entertainment industry across Los Angeles, New York City and the greater Washington DC area. Our educational division produces performing arts classes and camps for

all ages, available online, in Fairfax County, VA and Los Angeles, CA. These programs are winners of Washington Family Magazine’s 2020 “Best for Families” contest for the categories of “Best Arts Program” and “Best Children’s Theatre & Drama Instruction”. Moonlit Wings Productions was founded by Walid Chaya in 2008. Our productions have won awards worldwide. We are also known for SUPERnova Casting, our popular in-house casting division used to book authentic performers from the Mid-Atlantic and beyond.

Our Story

Founded in 2008, we produce creative events and award-winning educational programs that elevate the greater DC area as a major hub for theater and filmmaking through collaborations from NY, LA and beyond.

Our performing arts programs are WINNERS of Washington Family Magazine’s 2020 “Best for Families” contest for the categories of “Best Arts Program” and “Best Children’s Theatre & Drama Instruction.” These award-winning programs include classes, camps and advising for arts college admissions.​

MWP was founded by Walid Chaya, Artistic Director, who is a member of the Stage Directors Choreographer Society (SDC) and SAG-AFTRA.
