I 39m got married to my wife Sarah three years ago, my stepdaughter Audery 14F used to have a good relationship with me, but sometimes when she gets upset she says some pretty harsh stuff, and lately she's been acting out and would literally yell at me for just asking “how are things?". My wife says I should take a step back and let her have some space, Which what I been doing for the past two months. Yesterday, while my wife was at the stores and I was watching the news, I saw my stepdaughter walking out of my bedroom, I thought nothing of it, she's usually there for a pack of tissues/her mother's laptop and other stuff. We finished dinner, and before I went to bed, I went to check my closet and found that there was money missing, 200$ to be exact, I was keeping the cash to give it to my brother the next day to help pay for his wife's hospital bill. I was confused, I asked my wife if she went shopping with my money and she said no, I gotta say I had suspecions but didn't want to jump to conclusions. I (26M) and my best friend Kayla (26F) were at a wedding this past weekend and sharing a hotel room (separate beds btw) and after the wedding, Kayla was pretty drunk and went to take a shower. Came back in just her towel and just curled up under the blankets in her bed and said she was going to sleep. I thought it was a little strange but I didn’t think anything was wrong with it so I just said okay and went to sleep soon after. The next morning I wake up before her. See she’s still deep asleep so I go down to the breakfast buffet and grab food for her and I because I just think it’s a nice thing to do for her. Get back to the room. Put her food on the table and start eating mine while quietly watching YouTube with my breakfast. After a while she starts to wake up. She says “hey” and I tell her I got her breakfast. She says thanks and sits up in bed. Sits there for a sec and then gets up and goes to the bathroom. Alright everyone, I(F25) am really into the Alt lifestyle and so I have a lot of tattoos and piercings. Honestly it's how I like to express myself and it's a part of me. Well it also slightly clashes with my job as I'm a Ho***rs girl and as everyone knows they show a lot of skin. Well I tend to wear the long sleeve version of the shirt as to cover up my tattoos instead of the short sleeve or tank-top version of the shirt. We also just recently got a new manager and acting host, let's call him Mark, who I've never worked with before. That's where the problems start honestly as I had to cover down a shift and he was the host working that day. I show up for work and start to change as usual and when I come out he notices me. Mark pulls me into his office and demands that I go back to my locker and change into the tank-top uniform top as that's how he runs his shifts. I ask him why it's a big deal and that this is still a uniform top. He tells me that he doesn't want any of the girls overheating and whatnot and that I need to change. I told him that I wasn't going to because this is the one that I was going to wear. We got into a back and forth before he finally just let me get back to work, though after the fact he basically gave me the worst tables to deal with. I 25f am 7 months pregnant with our first child. My husband 27m and I are both incredibly excited. My husband is a good man, but is kind of stubborn and is a know it all at times. We were discussing my birth plan with my nurse, and I plan on giving birth in a hospital based birth center. I've had an incredibly easy pregnancy and would like a more relaxed homey feeling birth, but would like medical care available in case there are any complications. While discussing, my husband kept interrupting me and answering for me, saying what he thought was best. I told him to stop and that this was mostly a conversation between my nurse, and her patient aka me and our baby. He stopped but got huffy and annoyed the rest of the appointment. In the car he got mad and said he was just trying to help and this was his baby just as much as it was mine. I told him he's right, we are equal parents and the minute the kid is out of me he gets just as much say as I do, but until then he gets no say in how I give birth, because I am the patient and this is a medical procedure at its core. His job during labor is to be my support person, advocate for me if needed, and to watch our child come into the world. He told me that was fu**ed up and I'm being selfish for saying that. That this pregnancy isn't about me and I'm not more important of a parent than he is. This is not the first time we've had this conversation but it's the first time I've been so blunt about it.
