👋🏾 Welcome to my page! Most people call me Ian, E, Big Homie, or Doc—it’s all love here.

🙏🏾 I’ve been blessed with an incredible journey: I’m 48 years young, married for 24 years, father to three amazing adult children, proud Veteran of the U.S. Air Force, former Pastor, and currently serving as a chaplain for my local police department.

😤 I’m an overcomer who champions effort over excuses. This past December, I competed in my first bodybuilding competition after overcoming a right hip replacement in 2021, cervical spinal fusion (C3-C5) in 2022, right knee surgery in 2023, and Thyroid Cancer in 2024. There are no limits!

⭐️ I’m passionate about helping people unlock their full potential—physically, mentally, spiritually, and financially. Nothing fuels me more than seeing others step boldly into their purpose and thrive in every area of life.

💣 Lose it in 2025

If you wanna Lose it (fill in the blank) in 2025 this is what you need. Add in measuring cup(s) and spoons.
• My Fitness Pal App
• Scale
• Food Scale
• Containers for Meal Prep
• Grocery Shop
• Meal Prep
• Workout
• Sleep

For 90 days you need to adapt and be accountable to this life with no cheat meals or alcohol and you will see GREAT results that will encourage you to go another 90 days till you get to where you wanna be.

What helped me?

1. I made a decision to change that had absolutely nothing to do with what anyone else in my household wanted to do. This wasn’t “let’s try to do this together” or waiting around for someone else to do their part or totally commit. I COMITTED!!!

2. I did my own shopping for me (not the whole household). No hoping someone else would get my food or trying to burden them by adding my list to theirs 😑

3. I cooked and packed my own food ( no waiting around for someone else- you need to burn some calories anyway so do it all YOURSELF 🗣️)

4. I had a dedicated shelf in the fridge for my meal prep

5. I had a dedicated shelf in the pantry for my supplements, vitamins and healthy snacks

6. I woke myself up for the gym and killed those workouts ⏰

7. I set my alarm for 10p and went to sleep. No phone surfing. If we were in the middle of watching a movie I’d say “its bed time” and bounce ✌🏾

8. I drank a gallon or more of water a day

9. I clung to heathy relationships and loving and supportive people and isolated and insulated myself from those that weren’t

10. Spiritual growth continued

❓Should I have one, or two or even three of these? Of course!!!

When you have a structured Meal Plan (NOT diet), in which you are being intentional about accounting for what you eat and understanding how what you intake affects your health, body composition and physique goals, you know what you can do. I’m currently eating 85% Clean and 15% Something I enjoy. No keto, no carb cutting, carnivore or any other non-sustainable diet that doesn’t allow all of the food groups. THIS is sustainable!

I enjoy something I like every single day and I document everything in the App My Fitness Pal (download it and use the FREE version) so I know the “limit” on having the treat/meal that I like so it fits within my daily calorie intake.

This is a fun and less stressful way to eat. Eating healthy and Enjoying foods and treats you like.

My competition weight on 12/14 was 188. This morning (12/27) it was 196. All while having something I enjoy daily without guilt. Body fat is still low, abs present and mood is HAPPY 😊

💡 In this moment, I’m reflecting on the power of visualization—seeing where you want to go and believing it’s possible. Before I ever stepped on stage, before I ever held that trophy, I visualized it. I saw myself standing victorious, achieving the goals I set, and proving to myself what resilience and hard work can accomplish.
