Ever catch yourself saying these? The word “Christian” means ✨little Christlike one✨ and as He is in the world, so are we! So watch out for these phrases and the way they diminish who God has made you to be: ❌ ‘Oh, I’m terrible at that.’ While this can seem realistic, by saying this, you dismiss the gifts God has given you. ❌ ‘I’m just not talented.’ This can undermine your unique contributions and abilities that God has blessed you with. ❌ ‘I don’t deserve this.’ Remember, God wants to give you blessings. And because the Creator of the world wants you to have them, you deserve them because of His word! ❌ ‘I’m not as good as others.’ Comparison is the thief of joy; embrace your own path and progress. ❌ ‘I’ll just be in the way.’ Your presence and role are valuable in God’s plan. Go paint a soup bowl for free to support the SoupPort! About 200 total bowls are needed for the SoupPort lunch on April 10 to support Helpline a ministry operating in Walla Walla for 50 years which is now located at SonBridge Community Center. The painted bowls are then used to serve soup at the SoupPort lunch on April 10. 150 bowls have been sponsored, so you can paint bowls free! First come first served. SoupPort Bowl Painting SoupPort bowls are available to paint at the Pottery Painting studio at the Walla Walla Senior Center (720 Sprague St. Walla Walla). The studio hours are: Thursday and Friday 4-7pm, Saturday and Sunday 11am-3pm. The deadline to finish painting bowls for SoupPort is April 23!
