The 7th Annual HMF Film Fest is getting near! Before you know it spooky season will be upon us, haunts will be open, pumpkin patches, and Halloween in the air. We hope you will join us this year at the Palmetto Theatre of Walnut Cove for the 2024 HMF Film Fest!

If anyone has a spooky or horror related business that would fit with the festival and would be interested in having a vendor table, please message us. Limited space available.

In honor of our festival falling on Friday the 13th, we have a special announcement to make. A very special guest will be joining us this October. We are proud to welcome Actor, Voice Actor, SFX Artist, and cosplayer Jeff May! Jeff will be donning his famous outfit that has been seen around NC haunts as well as some Fan Films. So stop by for the first night of the HMF Film Fest this October and get a photo with everyone's favorite killer.

Photo ops are completely free! No ticket or purchase required! This is strictly intended just for fun in celebration of the spooky month of October and that the event falls on Friday the 13th.

Hello, FREAKS! We are happy to announce that we are set for our 6th year, and we will be returning the the beautiful Palmetto Theatre of Walnut Cove this Oct! This years event kicks off in Oct on Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th. We are working on a few ideas to make things interesting for such a cool day. So stay tuned!

Also, SUBMISSIONS OPEN FEB 1ST! Be sure to take advantage of the early bird special and get those films submitted.
