We are open to all sized vehicle traffic we are seeing 25-28 inches of ice.

Merit is open Thurs/Friday 4:00 PM-9:00 PM Saturday 12:00 PM-9:00 PM. Karaoke Saturday Nights 9:00 PM with DJ Briley

Lodge Open Thursday-Saturday 9:00 AM-8:00 PM Sunday 9:00 AM-2:00 PM

24/7 access we have sign with paybox right at the Lodge for after Lodge Hours Access.

We can ice road map for Trapper's Landing Lodge on Leech Lake.

Updated Ice road map 1/16/25

Red lines do not pass that is the ice heave that has not healed and very much moving.

Green are plowed roads

There is not much snow left on the ice after the heavy winds earlier this week. You can travel off road and in between the green lines.

We are reporting 20-24 inches consistently through our road system. We are open to all vehicle traffic at this time.

Road passes are 20$ per day, fri-sun(weekend) 50$

Currently plenty of good structure to fish and a lot of big walleye spots to fish.

Update for this upcoming weekend.

We are finding a solid 18.5"+ of ice right now along the staked paths. We are not crossing the Heaves Marked in Red as they are not healing with the cold weather.

We will be open to all sized Vehicles this upcoming weekend. We will be enforcing a 10 mph speed limit just like other area resorts. We need to keep slow on the staked out systems. You can drive in between the roads just do not cross the red lines.
