The Q103 Maui has helped shape the Reggae Culture on Maui since 1995.

We are saddened to say that starting December 1st, the Q103 will be changing formats and will no longer be playing Roots Reggae.

We’re definitely gonna miss our playlist, the old school mixing board, and all the good times we had at the station on 1900 Main. 🥲

We want to thank all of the amazing artists that walked through our doors, all of the DJs that shaped the station, and of course, YOU! Thank you to all the reggae lovers of Maui, and all over the world l, for your continued support over the almost 30 years we were ON AIR!

A big special mahalo to for holding down the station and for helping so many Hawaii reggae artists get to where they are today.

If you were one of the many artists that got your music played for the first time on the Q by Shaggy, please show him some love in the comments!!

We’d also love to hear your best memories🥰

Although this is the end of an era,
the culture lives on… Reggae is bigger than music!
