Our DJ's can read the room and make live changes based on the needs of the crowd and take requests on site. It can also be helpful in smoothing out any mishaps that may occur so that your event doesn’t come to a standstill as people deal with a fainting guest, drunken relative etc. (hopefully not, but, believe me, it has happened).
One of the benefits of hiring KwaK Entertainment for your wedding is that it helps set the tone for the rest of your evening. With our experienced DJ at the helm, since We provide a microphone for large portions of the evening, we can also act as a master of ceremonies should you require someone other than your wildcard relative to make announcements to keep things running smoothly.
There’s nothing quite so fun as dancing wildly to a song you love with your closest friends and family. The problem is, you might not have the forethought to include all your favorites in the list of special requests that you give to the person(s) providing your entertainment. It’s also possible that if you’ve opted for a band or solo artist, that they may not have the flexibility to accommodate the spontaneous musical whims that emerge on the dance floor at any given time. But DJ Kris has a huge database of thousands of songs, enabling us to weave requests of different genres into the setlist for the night.
Hiring DJ Kris for your wedding means you’re also hiring a professional-grade sound system. This is particularly important if you have a larger number of guests or if your reception will be held outdoors, as guests will actually be able to hear and enjoy the music. Our experienced DJs will also have backup systems in case technical problems arise - which could very well happen despite impeccable planning. This means that no matter what, you’ll have a quality sound system at your reception to play a never-ending stream of great music. The last thing you want is to have to end the night prematurely due to the gear malfunctioning.
It’s important that the songs holding special meaning for you as a couple get played on the night. However, when it comes to the overall setlist, its design should really be catered to the crowd of guests attending rather than to your individual tastes (particularly if you have niche music tastes). That way, you can ensure that everybody has a great time as a collective, rather than having a crowd of wallflowers who aren’t able to get into the dancing mood. We are always on time, professional and know exactly what the client wants for their event, be it a wedding day, birthday, reunion, club, corporate party, barmitzvah, or whatever.

We will help set up a a guideline for the DJ to follow and tells the DJ what kind of music you would like played or not played and any special tasks that you would like him or her to perform. We have a large song list and will be happy to help you find the most popular songs sorted in many different genres and decades.
Many clients have their own quirky songs that they like to have fun with. For that reason, we provide room for you to add in as many of your favorites as you wish.
We love to take requests and interact with our guests.
Some guests may request more risque' types of music and that's fine. Our knowledge of popular music can help clients buffer these requests and we have the edited/"Clean" versions of many of the top hits since we do so many school events and weddings throughout the year.
Our DJ's are kind, considerate, knowledgeable and talented. We want you to be super confident in your choice of entertainment.
We also provide music for both indoor and outdoor events. We can also provide: processional, recessional, prelude, postlude, seating or candlelight music if needed.
DVD Video slideshow presentations set to music can be added to be played at the event venue. The presentations are perfect for showing slide shows during receptions, reunions, birthdays, etc.... The dvd player, and TV is provided by us. We also provide slideshow making services with music and animations and titles, etc, for an additional fee. If projector is needed, a rental fee applies.(supplies are limited).
Some very large events or venues (over 400 guests) may need additional sound or lighting equipment (additional fees may apply).
We can also supply a Photo Booth for your event. These are always a big hit! If interested just let us know.
We are also able to help with catering, photographers, videographers, bartenders, bands, and just about anything else through our large database of contacts.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS?
Q. How much of a deposit do I need to put down?
A. We ask for a minimum deposit of $200, you can put more down if you want to.
Q. When is the balance due?
A. Anytime before the event date. We prefer final payment be made a week before date . You can even pay installments up to the event date to pay it out.
Q. What kind of payment do you accept?
A. Cash preferred but Paypal, Venmo, credit/Debit card, personal or company check are all valid payment options.
Q. What time will you arrive?
A. We will arrive at least one hour prior to the start time at venue to set up and get our equipment loaded in at the location
Q:Can you provide music for the ceremony as well? A:Yes, if ceremony is at teh same venue and close to where you have us set up. IF ceremony is at a differentlocation and requires a separate set up- there is a small additional ceremony feefor the second PA set up.
Q. Can you set up the equipment earlier than one hour before the start time?
A. Yes. For example, If you wanted us to start at 8 P.M. but needed the equipment to be set up by 2pm(because that’s when your planner will be there or whatever the case) that day or even the morning of the event, then a small early set-up fee would apply since we would be making multiple trips to the venue.
Q. Do you have "clean" version of some songs for schools or family appropriate events?
A. Yes. Kids and teachers love us because our seasoned DJ's use "clean" high energy music mixed with dance lighting, to make the energy on the dance floor incredible!
Q. What if we want you stay at the event longer and keep the party going?
A. Awesome! We love to keep the party going and are happy to accommodate if at all possible. Rates are only $75 per hour (paid at time of request) after the initial agreed upon end time.
