Sitting on the back porch, relaxing with some morning coffee and thinking… how the heck did I get here? I worked two incredible concerts this weekend. If you like jazz, Vero Beach was the place to be. The musicianship, at both the student level as well as that of seasoned professionals, left me in awe. I’m not gonna lie, I’m a little sore today. Those 106 pound subs seem to get heavier every time I move them. That these musicians put their trust in me makes it that much more meaningful. So… how did I get here? Well, in large part because of one person… Rita Lindsay. Rita, you have provided me with support, criticism, guidance and time to pursue this endeavor. I appreciate all that you do, and I know I couldn’t do it without you. I love you.
