🌍 When Your Ex Is Living the Life You Used to Have 🌍
I’ll be real with you—in my situation, I’m not even sure if it was a true flaunt. But seeing them travel to the same places we used to go and living the life we had... that hit hard. It’s like watching someone press “play” on a movie you thought had ended, and you’re not in the scene anymore. 😔
Here’s what helped me get through it:
Acknowledge the Feelings: I had to allow myself to feel hurt. It wasn’t easy, but I knew pretending it didn’t bother me would only hold me back. If this is where you’re at, know that it’s okay to feel all the feels—nostalgia, frustration, maybe even some jealousy. 🌱
Reframe Your Journey: Their life may look like a continuation of what you once had, but here’s the thing—you are on a whole new path now. I started asking myself, “What does my next chapter look like?” And suddenly, the focus shifted back to me. What new adventures can you create for yourself? 🌟
