Hi friends! I have been very quiet on my page for the past year, but for good reasons! Life has brought big changes and exciting new adventures my way! Alongside my wedding work, I’ve been expanding my portfolio to include commercial projects as well as I have been creating social media content for several businesses!

I’m so grateful for all the love and support I’ve received as I finished up wedding videos this summer—it truly means the world to me. I adore each and every client that chose me to document their special day this year. I’m excited to keep creating and capturing beautiful moments, and I can’t wait to share more with you all. Happy New year! 💕 I figured it was time to end my social media break and post my new headshots and reintroduce myself!

Hey 👋🏼 I’m Sarah Rasmussen and I have been in love with videography for 6 years now. I first learned how to shoot video in high school while making a video for an assembly and now I film weddings full time all over the US. I love capturing genuine love and fun on wedding days. Here are some fun facts about me!

- I'm from Idaho but have lived in Utah for 6 years now.🗻
- I am engaged and planning on getting married in the next couple of years!💍
- I've been doing wedding videography full time for 3 years! 🎥
- I’m obsessed with traveling, the beach and eating sweets…🧁
- I love trying new foods. My new obsessions include sushi, Japanese curry & Thai food.🍜
- You'll catch me wearing Tevas pretty much every day of my life! 👡

The wedding of Olivia + Parker!

I realized I haven’t shared a full wedding film in a while but I I’m so proud of this one and I am excited to share it with you. I took inspiration from Liv & Parker’s passion for film photography and thought I’d incorporate it into their wedding video! They had such a fun filled day and I really enjoyed the time I spent with them!

I’m Sarah 👋🏼 and here are 3 things that I LOVE.

BAKING: Creme brulee is my new favorite dessert to make! I made it from scratch last week for the first time and it was so fun. I loved using a torch to melt the sugar which added a dangerous element. In the end, it’s really the crunchy sugar I’m after.

MY GIRLS: I am a new cat mom and they have been so fun to have around. My partner and I named them after a couple of our favorite songs. Julia by Mt. Joy and Eloise by the lumineers. They have completely opposite personalities, but they still love to play with each other and us. They also are the perfect editing buddies and curl up on my lap while I work on your wedding films.

STRANGER THINGS: This past week I was so excited for the new season of Stranger Things to come out. I honestly think that this season tops all other seasons and has become my favorite TV show. Even though it’s been incredibly scary (I hate scary things), I really loved it and I cannot wait for volume 2 to come out…

Speaking of things I love, being able to connect with so many couples over the past 2 years has been so wonderful. I am so excited to see what the rest of 2022 will bring for me and each of the lovely couples I meet.
