What a week at the Missouri state fair.

DL Shannon Mona 310 had some major wins this past week.

SULL LEGACY X AF Shannon Mona 1636 (raised by Alden farms)

💥Reserve champion FFA shorthorn heifer

💥Reserve Champion overall junior shorthorn heifer making it to the show me shoot out Saturday evening.

💥Then to top it all off Grand Champion Purebred shorthorn heifer in the open show.

We can officially say we have shown all 4 livestock species.

This is the first year our county has had a goat show so we decided to take one and had a lot of fun doing so!

3rd overall market weather

This guy will be available at the end of July. He has a lot of gas left in the tank to make an awsome weather for county’s fairs later this fall into the winter.

This guy is way cool. He ties high out of the top side of his shoulder in to a massive top. He is stout, good legged and burly. He did not want to corporate for the video, but this guy is going to make a killer fat steer.

With sale day just one day away, today is DL Snowflakes day. This bull calf has changed so much since we took pictures the first of February. Not only has he grown, but he is also packing on the pounds.

Snowflake is the progeny of one of our oldest cows that is still in production. Her dam is 10 years old and still looks like she did 5 years ago. Snowflake and her bull calf sell tomorrow as lot 15 in the Missouri Shorthorn Association sale held on AMS.

When we pictured this pair the first of February, this heifer calf was just getting started on creep feed. We decided that she needed another picture day for the simple fact of how much she has changed in a month.

This heifer is my favorite one that we raised from our fall group. Her and her dam that is bred back to DJS the outsider sell march 26th as lot 14 in the Missouri Shorthorn Association sale held on AMS
