In case you didn't notice...our name has changed!

UPDATE! About 1 in 44 children has been identified with autism spectrum disorder according to estimates from CDC’s Autism and Developmental Disabilities Monitoring Network. This is higher than the previous estimate published in March 2020, which found a prevalence of 1 in 54 children. Our weekly podcast title has officially changed from “1 in 54” to “1 in 44”. Devon is a New York City based film maker and vocalist, whose credits include HBO, Activision Blizzard Entertainment Inc, and the Sundance Film Festival. Devon joins us today to discuss an experimental film she wrote and directed - Galoot. Galoot explores the feeling of what it means to grow up on the autism spectrum and is informed by Devon’s childhood writing and drawings.
