I wasted thousands of dollars on softwares when I was starting my photography business. My biggest lesson? Skip the fancy softwares until you are using the basics consistently.
Niching down 3-4 levels is how I stood out when starting out.

How we're using social media to build our businesses

After 4 years of running a photo & video business, @chrispieta talks about transitioning to coaching - Hosted by @foodbloggerpro
If you're new here - I do two things:
1. I run a photo & video company @pieta.productions
2. I help creative entrepreneurs through my education company Creative Biz Launch
The first one is pretty self-explanatory. So I want to focus on the second one.
I come from a STEM background so my brain thinks in terms of systems. That's how I built my photo & video business. And it's the same thing I teach inside my education company.
I've developed a simple 5 step system.
Step 1: Get your business basics in order.
Step 2: Create your irresistible offer.
Step 3: Follow the client acquisition system framework.
Step 4: Turn one time projects into long-term, high-paying retainers.
Step 5: Hire a team and automate your biz or coast on 6 figures a year. You decide.
It's a simple system, but it wasn't an easy one to develop. Thankfully, I had a lot of help along the way. I took courses, I worked with coaches, and read more books than I can name.
The result was the Creative Biz Launch system.
Once you get access to it, this is what it looks like from the inside. You get 5 courses that walk you through how to implement the entire system.
But courses themselves aren't enough. You also get access to a community of like-minded creative entrepreneurs that will hold you accountable to actually execute. Photographers and videographers from all over the world working together to scale up their businesses.
On top of this, you get direct access to me on our weekly coaching calls. Show up to the calls, ask questions, and get them answered by me. Repeat each week.
I've helped hundreds of creatives level up. If you want my help too, DM me this reel with the word "community" and we'll talk next steps.

My 4-step pitching process. 1/ Have a clear offer in a specific niche. Don't just offer photos, videos, drone work, etc to everyone. Get clear on who you help and how you help them.
2/ Get a list of leads in your target market. Scrape em, use an online database, search them on social... Pick a method and get a hundred names you can reach out to.
3/ Write a pitch with a focus on THEM. How can you help THEM? This isn't about you. The goal here is to get them to book a call with you.
4/ On the sales call, dig into their problems, offer yourself as the solution to their problems, and send that proposal at the end of the call.
5/ Follow up until you get a yes or a no.
