And finally, our good friends Indigent Row's "Waves of Time" is a rocking set of Progressive Celtic Fusion. It's like the Pixies meeting Porcupine Tree in a Dublin pub. Released on their own label, we were proud to lend them a hand to get this excellent Irish rock heard.

Rex was founded as a collaborative effort between four like-minded jazz musicians in the greater Denver, Colorado area. The group started as a project between two friends, bassist Tim Carmichael and keyboardist Justin Highland. After playing much of the standard jazz repertoire over the years, the search for something more than conventional jazz started with an effort to focus on all original music covering a wide range of styles in the jazz idiom. Carmichael and Highland composed, arranged and rehearsed all songs over the course of 2 years. The group came to fruition with the addition of two other accomplished jazz musicians, saxophonist and brother Doug Carmichael and drummer/percussionist Zay Alejandro Camara Rios.

“Music to Squeak By” is my ninth solo album. Inspired by the classic guitar instrumental albums of the 50s and 60s, like those of Howard Roberts and The Ventures, it runs the musical gamut from jazz to blues to funk. There’s even a somewhat-warped boogie thrown in for good measure. While it was originally intended as a vehicle to collaborate with a few old friends on some of my original tunes, the shutdowns caused by COVID-19 changed it into a more solitary project. I wound up playing or programing all the instruments on this recording, for a very personal take on these compositions.

3ology is group based in Longmont Colorado. Formed in 2007 with a focus on improvised jazz in the same spirit as artists like Ornette Coleman, the group went on to release three studio recordings: 3ology (self titled), Out of the depths, and 3ology with Ron Miles, all of which can still be obtained online. Out of this material came a newly discovered archive of unreleased live recordings.

If you missed out on hearing the group live this is your opportunity to get the up-close listening experience of 3ology at it's best! Note: the new releases include some new , never heard, unrecorded songs (unless your came to our gigs).

The TAC Project is a journey to explore the various
possibilities of what a single instrument can do. It led to
the concept that a bass could be a melodic and harmonic
instrument, in addition to holding down a bass line. As a
player, creating the multiple tracks to accomplish this
was difficult but exciting at the same time.

I’ve always believed that a true musician works
towards mastering their own instrument but must have a
concept of what all other musicians do to achieve the
overall musical statement. It is with many talented people
around me that this musical concept became reality. I
couldn’t have done this without them. I hope that this
music brings as much joy to everyone as it has provided
me. I am truly blessed to have the wonder of Music to share!

Petimbro is a musical collaboration between Pete Ehrmann (Drums/Percussion) and Tim Carmichael (Bass). This was a journey to highlight and celebrate the representation of Bass and Percussion in music. The compositions take the listener on a historical path starting with African roots all the way to the future of Avant-Garde jazz. The trance-like nature of the Drums and Bass are meant to focus on how important that heartbeat is to all music forms and styles.

It's our hope you the listener will enjoy the complex and simple grooves that make up our vast musical landscape.
