Repaired and painted many rooms on this job. But the main issue and challenge for this particular job was the 36’ long peak at the vault was all busted out due to truss movement. It was the one of the worst I’ve never seen because it was not only busted, but someone had tried to repair it previously (without success), making it even worse. If the proper material isn’t used at the peak, it’s an almost a guarantee that it will crack over time. This is a very common problem. It’s very rare that these peaks are ever straight due to the trusses, and this one was NO acceptation. But I was very pleased at the way it turned out! And more importantly, the homeowners were as well!😀
