This is Drew of the HAMC Stockton Charter with his beautiful baby girl EmmyLou Rose.

She’s definitely a daddy’s girl.

Thanks for the photo, Drew. Everyone knows I love an inspirational image and story.

Good Morning! More of "The Wandering Gypsy and the Silver Satin Kid" from Sonny's book "Ridin' High, Livin' Free"

Gypsy was still waiting for the Kid to show up when P*e Wee strutted into the bar. Somebody in the bar told P*e Wee about a former member sporting a faded Club tattoo. P*e Wee, seven feet and three hundred pounds of rock-solid muscle, strode over to Gypsy's table. He grabbed Gypsy's arm and raised it up for a look.
"Where'd you get that tattoo, man?"
"I used to be in the Club," Gypsy said proudly.
"When was that?"
"From the start, until '61. Ask the Kid. He'll vouch." Then Gypsy asked him, "Aren't you P*e Wee?" Gypsy remembered seeing news photos of P*e Wee getting arrested at the 1965 Vietnam protest march after fighting with the police and demonstrators.
"I suppose you think you know me or something."
"No,"
" Gypsy said, trying to keep things cool. "I have a picture of you in my scrapbook."
Gypsy brought up the subject of w**d. Could P*e Wee help arrange a buy?
P*e Wee telephoned the Kid. Meanwhile Fat Richie, a chunky
Mexican about Gypsy's height, walked up to the bar.
"So you say you were in the Club? I say, so fu***ng what? That was then, this is now."
A hush fell over the place. Fat Richie had just put Gypsy down pretty bad in front of all the folks in the bar.
"Well, f**k you, man," Gypsy barked at Fat Richie. Big mistake.
Fighting words.
Nothing happened right away, but Gypsy knew he was in a tight spot. He still needed to speak with the Kid. He wanted to grab his w**d and get the hell out of the bar. Things were heating up. Gypsy walked over to P*e Wee again to ask if he could speak to the Kid himself.

Kelsy invites the audience into a beautifully strange world of her own making, a fantasia that’s equal parts rock-and-roll grit and wildly theatrical grandeur!

Who We Are

Welcome to Southern Steel Magazine. We began our exciting journey in 2014 making friends and covering motorcycle and car events in Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas and New Mexico. We will continue to include events and writers from these states from time to time, but now are located in Phoenix Arizona where we plan to be for awhile. Though we have been non-active for the past year as the publisher dealt with the loss of her beloved father, the magazine will be doing a soft launch in the desert sun come 2019. We will be looking to build a strong team here in this great state.

We will cover biker, veterans, fallen riders, AMRA, cancer benefits, rat rods, classic cars and other events across the great state of Arizona

Our magazine is high quality print packed with articles for the people, by the people! We honor fallen riders, courageous men & women and those who have served this country.
