After suffering with allergies my entire life, years of shots, rhinitis, which later developed into chronic sinusitis, sinus pressure headaches, etc ...I'll have a fairly new procedure tomorrow (balloon sinuplasty) that's said to eliminate my congestion and related symptoms and allow me to experience true breathing for the first time in the memory of my life.

As you can see from my CT scan, there's not a lot of air that gets through my depleted nasal passages. The cyst will be removed, and all my passages will be reshaped and opened.

As a voice actor and vocalist, the thought of how this may change my sound is at the forefront of my thoughts. Unbeknownst to me, I've learned to compensate for the lack of air intake I've had, so I'm praying that my new normal is only an improvement to what I have now.

I'm excited and a little anxious, but I'm mostly excited! You'll hear the difference, if any, in a few days. 🙂
