This past weekend we did the Halloween Hustle 5k…as the Familia Madrigal!! At the end of September, I had a really bad case of pneumonia and could literally only sleep and cough for about 2 weeks straight. My oxygen levels hovered at 89 for days and everything was a struggle. That time period was a complete blur. After an intense course of 2 antibiotics, prednisone, cough suppressants, albuterol and nebulizer treatments, I finally bounced back. It’s been about a month since that whole ordeal and I’m happy to say I went from sleeping around the clock to run/walking a 5k with my fam. Addy finished in 35 minutes. It took me about 41 or so, but I did cross the finish line (in a dress nonetheless) and we did win BEST COSTUME, so in my opinion, without a doubt…we won!! I’m so grateful to have these moments with my nuclear unit and I hope you’re able to revel in all the little moments too, even when life is so busy. I hope you all have an awesome Halloween tonight…stay safe and cram that candy in your mouth! 🍭🍬🍫

Thank you for all the amazing birthday messages! I hosted a masterclass where just about everyone showed up (uh-mazing!!!), had a lovely dinner at home with Charles & Addy and officially realized age was catching up with me when I got a sewing machine for my present and was totally ecstatic. Everything is awesome…LEGOLAND California
Of course, the animal queen Addy even tried to feed the Lego animals…but it is what it is. 🤣 And her dream of being a bunny was accomplished when she became a Lego bunny… Beautiful displays all over the park from miniature Vegas replicas to larger than life characters (Charles is 6ft for reference) Rides are debatable, but if you’re there to see the creations and build with an endless supply of legos all day, this is where there is magic.

Experience at SeaWorld San Diego was a very positive one. Was thrilled to teach Addy about all the magnificent creatures of our oceans and learn of the sustainability practices Sea World currently partakes in. You can see that the trainers clearly love their animals and care for them deeply and I fell in love with a 42 year old dolphin named Sandy. That is all. 🌊🐬

Does anyone have a contact at the Valley Advocate? The "Best of" awards are out and I keep looking for a category for Best Digital Agency or something similar. There are real estate agencies, wedding photographers, adult novelty stores... yet no place for the creatives. Videographers, podcasters, social media experts. These services are utilized by business owners and individuals everywhere, feeling like they aren't quite represented within this.
