HELLo, FiEnDs ... Welcome to Wayback Wednesday!! Tonight, I will be taking you all back to January 1979, the release date for "Strangers in the Night," a double live album from UFO. When it comes to live albums, there are few that are as well done as this one. Also, during this tour, Michael Schenker refused to record overdubs for the album, which would make this an accurate account of his live guitar work. As for the record's production, even without the overdubs, this is on par with other iconic live albums like Kiss - Alive and Cheap Trick's - Live at Budokan. It does a great job bringing the energy from the band and crowd ... one of my favorites!! So tune in and get ready to go way back!!

HELLo, FiEnDs ... For tonight's show, I will feature one of my all-time favorite works from H.P. Lovecraft. "At the Mountains of Madness" is a science fiction-horror novella by American author H. P. Lovecraft, written in February/March 1931. Rejected that year by Weird Tales editor Farnsworth Wright on the grounds of its length, it was initially serialized in the February, March, and April 1936 issues of Astounding Stories. It has been reproduced in numerous collections. While this story has multiple incarnations, this group does a fantastic job bringing the story to life!!

HELLo, FiEnDs ... It's that time of the week when I crank up the old time machine for some kickass rock and roll!! Tonight, I will take you all back to September 4th, 1970. This was the release date for "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!: The Rolling Stones in Concert". This was recorded over a few dates from November 26th, 1969 through February 1970. During this tour, the Stones played with B.B. King and Ike and Tina Turner. These supporting acts played to completely packed houses (one night, I will play those sets for you!!) This is a phenomenal album from possibly one of the world's perfect rock bands!!
There is also a lineup that features the magic of time travel. Remember, none of the standard time travel rules apply here!!! HELLo, FiEnDs ... Over the last few months, I have dropped Friday night broadcasts in favor of a movie night in the graveyard. I call it The Tombstone Drive-In (keeping with my established theme). This is the night that I have set aside to share my movie collection with you all. Well, not all of you, as it is password-protected, and I only have room for twenty participants.

I have a night of science fiction for you. While neither movie was given much love, I find them both very entertaining. Up first is The Cloverfield Paradox, which loosely ties into the Cloverfield universe. It is set on a space station orbiting Earth. Without giving any of it away, it's one that made me say, "What a trip!!" Then, an old favorite of mine and could be considered a "cult classic, " is Lifeforce, from 1985. Once again, it is a very trippy sci-fi flick where an alien ship is discovered and searched. They find some alien bodies, and I do mean bodies - (if you have seen this, you already know where I was going with this .. hahaha). It was directed by Tobe Hooper. This one should have gotten more attention, that is for sure!! And to warm you up, there is an episode of the animated series Spawn and some tasty snack bar videos!!

HELLo, FiEnDs ... Welcome to Thursday Night Thunder. Tonight, I will be spinnin' the album "Armageddon" from the band Spectre. I will attempt to describe their highly addicting sound. Rippin' guitar, rock-solid bass, and drums. The band is undoubtedly excellent, but the vocals are what drew me to this band. The vocals remind me of a mixture of Geoff Tate, Rob Halford, and King Diamond, all while sounding utterly original!! Very, very well done!! I can only imagine how impressive they would be to see live on stage!! Do yourself a favor and check these guys out!!

HELLo, FiEnDs. With a new year upon us, it really hit me how fast time flies by. It seems like yesterday when I picked up "Live in the Raw" from W.A.S.P., but it was actually September 1987!! This was the fourth release and the first live album from the band. It captures their show's music and energy, but since it was not a video, unfortunately, it could not possibly capture the insane stage show that W.A.S.P. brought to every performance!! There is one moment where Blackie is addressing the P.M.R.C., just before they play "Harder Faster," that you have to hear to appreciate!! This is an incredible live album. HELLo, FiEnDs ... This time of year is filled with tradition. Every Christmas, I play the album "Santa Apocalypse" from the band Fluffer. One of my favorites from the band, for sure. But when they told me that all of the album sales would help out "Toys For Tots," I was deeply touched. Even today, it still brings tears to my eyes when I think of the generosity they showed and the joy they brought to some kids on Christmas morning!!

As for tonight's lineup, if you decide to make this a new tradition, you'll hear the complete Fluffer album and some other Christmas classics!! From Bing Crosby & David Bowie to Korn, there is even a bit where Glenn Danzig recites "The Night Before Christmas" and much more!!
