An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. When seconds count, help is only minutes away. The bottom line is when you find yourself or your loved ones in imminent danger, the time to prepare has already run out. Are you ready for that “really bad day” when no one is coming to save you? The team at RECOIL OFFGRID is your partner in preparedness. Since 2013, we have promoted the values of self-reliance and self-sufficiency, and guided readers towards developing well-rounded survival skills. Our print publication, web stories, and video content take a practical, analytical approach to the key topics you need to be resilient in the face of hardship — urban survival, situational awareness, escape and evasion, self-defense, first aid, navigation, communication, and much more. We consult with numerous experts from a wide range of backgrounds, compile step-by-step guides, conduct brutally-honest gear reviews, and examine hypothetical scenarios that can help you plan your response to a real-life crisis. Our ultimate goal is to offer insight into the realities of facing a turbulent world, and set you up for success in the event trouble finds you and yours. Take the time, while you have it, to ready yourself for life’s toughest challenges. Develop the skills, select the gear, and broaden the knowledge you’ll need to not only survive, but persevere under adverse conditions. Once you’ve built a strong foundation, you’ll be able to confidently handle whatever the future holds, from everyday inconveniences to life-changing disasters. Ultimately, the responsibility is yours, but you don’t need to face it alone. Tom Marshall
