Beauty!

Well it finally happened. I had dreams of catching a truly large hybrid for most of my life...even just to see one over 45" in person would have been cool. Little did I know when that clicker went off it would have been my life-long dream fish.

Big thanks to Robbie and Heidi for helping make this happen and letting me take the rod this time. Those two have been very gracious giving me chances up on the sucker rod being I don't get to fish as often as I used to.

My previous best tiger was 41" and the best in the boat was a 44" caught when I was guiding in Northern Wisconsin in 1999. I realize they do grow larger but anything over the 48" mark is a true Unicorn imo. She measured in at 48.5"x 23".

A few may laugh at my reaction to getting this fish into the net but those were my true feelings of being blown away by this animal.
